05/24/2005: "EBAY is crawling with thiefs"

For the last two weeks ALL EBAY auctions for the Nokia N90 have been run by thiefs. Typical MO -
they usually have some other E-mail listed in the Auction. If you send them an E-mail asking about the item they respond very quick, with a phone number to call. If you have a Yahoo E-mail they will IM you quickly. The deal is always really cheap. They will only take Western union. They use stolen accounts with 100% positive feedback. There is a rush to close the deal, thats because E-bay shuts them down on a daily basis. Ive told EBay that all Nokia N90 phone sells are a scam due to the fact that none are currently available. Ebay responds with a generic canned E-mail. Talk about fustrating. Im sure these are just a tiny fraction of all the stealing going on E-bay.
